(…) The history of the Skalli family is closely con¬nected with that of varietal wines. Robert Skalli pioneered the category in France thirty years ago. Over time, we have gradually evolved from a varietal-based strategy to one that revolves around a whole family of wines from the South. In 2000, we bought Maison Bouachon-Caves Saint Pierre in the Rhone Valley. Historically, we own vineyards in Corsica, with Terra Vecchia, and in Provence we work closely with Gilardi (…).
